About me
Hi, I’m Zac — a hands-on maker, fixer, and tech experimenter. I build systems for fun, whether it’s automating my greenhouse, mapping underground soil layers, or engineering backyard tools from scratch. Most of what you see on this site was built using parts I had on hand, open-source software, and a lot of late-night tinkering.
I’ve used Raspberry Pi, Arduino, custom Python scripts, and homebrew circuitry to power everything from irrigation to 3D soil imaging. I believe in learning by doing — and that good ideas don’t need fancy equipment to work.
When I’m not wiring up a new project, I’m spending time with my kids, exploring nature, or diving into whatever technical challenge pops up next.
