🔬 Project: H.A.R.M.O.N.I.C.
High-resolution Automated Resistivity Mapper for Orthogonal Node-based Imaging & Calibration
H.A.R.M.O.N.I.C. is a DIY underground scanner that uses Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) to map hidden soil structures in 2D and 3D. It automates data collection using a Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and multiplexers to switch between electrode pairs, capturing resistance data across a 3×3 grid.
💡 Features
Fully automated scanning of all A–B / M–N electrode pairsÂ
Python-based sweep script with CSV logging
Visualizes data in 2D; 3D model support in progressÂ
Modular field wiring via screw-terminal patch panel
Completely headless Raspberry Pi control system
🔧 Key Components
Raspberry Pi 3B+ (headless, Python-controlled)
3× CD74HC4067 multiplexers
ADS1115 16-bit ADC
12V relay board + current injection circuit
